I recently got my dream dress to end all dream dresses, and the Valentines meet for my local community is the perfect time to wear it!

I had the TAFE orientation today, sadly all the cool and crazy kids are in Animation this year!! I was the only oddball in my class /forever-alone.jpeg

Anyway, it has been throwing down rain for the last day and a half so I got too get more use of my boots and Westwood parasol~

So we woke up at 6:30 this morning to get ready, train it and have breakfast before my friend orientation started (mine wasn't until 12, but hers was at 10).

When we got to the city I took her to my favorite place The Tea Center for breakfast and a cup of tea (tea? at the tea center? well I never!)

We both had Banana bread to eat and I ordered one of the best tea's you will ever taste: Strawberry Cream it tastes like those strawberry and cream lollies (you can add milk but I didn't feel like a milk tea today so I just added some cold water instead.)

After that she scooted over to TAFE so I did some shopping. On the way I found one of my other friends and then dragged him around for a while haha.

I needed a new umbrella (a small one) and some new sunnies!


I love this umbrella it is the cutest thing ever. it has a girl's silhouette holding an umbrella (umbrellaception?) and underneath it says 'Always a dainty princess' its such cute engrish.


And then my new sunnies~ (crap iphone front cam pic) I love them. The smaller round glasses look strange on me so I died of happiness when I found over-sized ones! and when my hair gets wet/humid it dose this weird bunny style (not the animal) I kinda like it though....

But I really like Grazia crown because I finally have a print that matches ALL the golds in my eyeshadow palette!

So two posts today (and in a couple minuets of each other too).

Anywho, Wednesday is my TAFE orientation (Games Design again this year) so Lolita is a definite outfit choice, if its the first thing my classmates see me in they have a whole month or so too get used to it before the cool weather comes along and BOOM! the real Goth-Loli begins....not that Im the only odd one there, H block (Art Block represent) is full of wonderful people anything from Fairy Kei to Visual and Romantic Goth to Setampunk...normally dressed people are there too of course.

But before that my very best friend (whos a wonderful Rockabilly) and I are going for breakfast and a quick shop (or saving the shopping for after the Tafe shindig.). Perfect opportunity to finally wear Grazia Crown out!

I adore this JSK because it lets me play up the antique gold and whites in the print same with reds and blues

Its a 100% chance of rain and dismal weather that day (My favorite kind of weather =D) so boots and umbrella are a necessity! I'll be wearing a toned down petti though, the one I have on the dress stand dose not look right with the dress (since its Chinese new year my medium bell and medium A-Line are not going to be made until febuary) its far to puffy and sits awkwardly with the cut of the bodice.

In other news I found OTKs for the JSK FINALLY!!

I caved since I couldn't choose between the two and Meta has such reasonable pricing and shipping costs.

I love them both but I feel the second pair will look the best with Grazia Crown. The other ones will go fantastic with other pieces in my wardrobe too

I ordered two Halloween rings from Automatic Honey.
There was a massive kerfuffle with them getting lost for two weeks in the post, winding up in Sydney and then being delivered at the daisy hill post office (about 5 suburbs away from me). All through this however, she was contacting her post office trying to work out what was happening at her end (when I wasn't even sure they had left her country) and then once we realized that neither of us could find out where the hell they were she offered me a full refund. Luckily they arrived the same day and a refund wasn't needed.

So for the seller:

Construction - 5/5 - they are sturdy acrylic with strong ring backs.

They look nearly identical to the images she had up ( oranges are a little different but not by much!)

So, Heres a little review for Fox Cherry (Taobao Hat store).

I ordered two hats from them (that are no longer available it seems..):

I ordered through Taobao, who like always were amazing and I highly recommend them.

And in order of how I savagely ripped the packages open:

Hats are well constructed
Made of quality wool,leather and silk.
Everything on the hats is firmly attached
Apart from the chain missing off the top hat everything is as pictured.

I give the hats 4.5/5 and will definitely be ordering from them again.

Busy at Brisie nova

God awful title aside, Brisnova ended yesterday (Now just 6 months till the next one =D) and it was AWESOME even though both my cosplays fell though ~~(next time Okama Sanji, next time)~~ so I just wore lolita all weekend.

Surface Spell JSK and a really REALLY nice Ero styled corset (its open laced at both sides and has a train-thing at the back with purple flocking. AND ITS STEAL BONED =D)

GLB 39, Chopper hat (next cosplay is Loli!Chopper ;D), Dr. Who Cyberman VHS collection, New Yugimons cards and a TARDIS cookie jar that lights up and makes noises when you close the lid or hit the light button.

So, all in all, great weekend. Amazing cosplayers (so much HOMESTUCK), fantastic merch and got to catch up with people I haven't seen in a while.
